Untitled

Written by Pablo Picasso

Vital hunger, all devouring hunger

To live the minute, the precise second.

They are the fathomless hours,

The hours most changed with passion, with astonishment,

Which this century endured as it climbs the summits

Of a hundred years.  I hear and the world listens

To time as it fecundates your blood

And lets you burst in explosions

Of color, lines, and words

    Which daily echo

And will forever echo.
