When We're Entwined

Jennifer Paige©1996

Caught up in you

Lost in your eyes

The silk of your skin

Days of milk and roses

The honey of your lips

Closest thing to heaven

Is when we are entwined

High on you

Slave to your touch

And your voice again

Always feel like I’m saying too much

When we’re entwined

All arms and legs a-tangled

Deep into the dark side of sin

Oh, it feels so good

To be covered with another soul

And the dust of happiness

And you

After so long being clean and pure

Shaking of that innocence and the snow

I feel into your arms

Only to become entwined
