Untitled #4

Midnight, moonlight pantheon

Hiding here and beyond

All else that

            Matters not

And in this madness cloud I fear

A distance greater than her sphere

Her sighs that I worship

Her eyes—

The murk and mist of home dampens all spirits

Until they hang, sullen, like soggy blankets

            In the rain

Sighing heavy like winter winds

            Needled with snow

But to touch mouths

            Fingers

            Faces

            Bodies

Reunites happiness with me

            Again
